The Methodist Hospital System offers CarePages to connect Patients and Families
The Methodist Hospital System is on the leading edge once again by offering a patient-centered communication service called CarePages!
The CarePages service is a web-based tool created and managed completely by the patients and their families. CarePages are private secure Web pages created by the patient (or a close family member or friend). Easing communication tremendously with extended family and friends, a user can update others in 30 seconds, rather than 30 phone calls, and they can receive messages in return.
It's a terrific tool for patients!
CarePages is a national service and those who use it love it! With full online and live Customer Support in place, you can feel confident that patients and families will be able to get assistance when needed. CarePages can be created and managed from any computer with Internet access: at home, at work, at school, at the library. CarePages are often updated from home, where the user can process emotions privately. Computers are also available to patients families/friends throughout the hospital in the waiting areas.
CarePages helps you:
- Receive support from friends and family even if they are miles away
- Update everyone at the same time without repeated phone calls
- Control the flow of information. You share news at a time that’s right for you
- Keep in touch before, during, and after hospitalization.
Your CarePage works for you as long as you want it to. CarePages are fully secure, password protected, and comply with all patient privacy regulations.
