Biography

Dr. Eldor received his M.D. degree from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel in 2000. He then completed his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency training program at the Rambam Healthcare Campus, also in Haifa, and remained there for an additional year as a Senior Plastic Surgeon. He remains a plastic reconstructive and microsurgical fellow at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Eldor is very interested in academic medicine and his original research has been published in esteemed medical journals such as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Annals of Plastic Surgery and The Breast Journal.

Description of Research

Dr. Eldor conducts clinical research to improve perforator flap reconstructive procedures. He also investigates novel methods to isolate, propagate, and differentiate autologous stem cells for tissue engineering applications.
