Research
Research, including both bench science and clinical trials, is a crucial aspect of the work conducted at the Methodist Neurological Institute. Our research facilities include an experimental surgery suite, molecular biology labs and extensive radiological resources.
The education-oriented, technologically advanced research environment supports ongoing developments in the understanding and treatment of stroke, ALS and Parkinson’s. Additional studies in the treatment of neurological disorders such as aneurysm, cancers of the brain and spinal cord, and Alzheimer’s are also in progress.
