Todd W. Trask, M.D.
Dr. Todd Trask’s expertise includes the treatment of brain and spinal tumors, microsurgery of cerebral aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations, and stereotactic radiosurgery for trigeminal neuralgia. He also performs spinal surgery, including spinal reconstruction.
Dr. Trask graduated from Duke University and received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his internship and residency at the Baylor College of Medicine. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery, and has twice served as a guest examiner for the board.
Dr. Trask serves as the medical director of The Methodist Hospital Neuro ICU, and as chairman of the hospital’s neurosurgery performance improvement committee. He has a longstanding interest in experimental treatments for malignant brain tumors, and performed one of the earliest studies on the use of gene therapy in brain tumors. Dr. Trask is an assistant professor of clinical neurosurgery at Weill Cornell Medical College, New York.
