Ways to Give

Your generosity makes a difference.

By giving to Methodist, you are making an investment that will help provide much-needed funding for innovative and on-going programs, patient and medical education and the best of care in our hospitals. The power of your gift will be magnified many times over, playing a quiet role in healing people, saving lives, and providing a peace of mind to patients — now and in the future.

There are many ways you can support Methodist. However you choose to contribute, your gift will help open new doors to increased patient care. When giving to Methodist, numerous giving options allow you to determine how your contribution will be used.

Unrestricted gifts allow Methodist to have the flexibility to authorize funds for use where the need is greatest. An unrestricted contribution may support improved patient care, equipment, facilities, and innovations in teaching or research.

Restricted gifts are contributions directed to a specific hospital, program, project or individual clinician. A restricted gift can be a special way to honor and support a particular institution or professional whose work bears personal meaning to you.

Types of Gifts

Current-use gifts provide immediate, short-term funding to Methodist.

Endowment gifts benefit the hospital over the long term.

A major gift pledge is a formal statement of intention to make a gift to Methodist with regular payments over time.

Matching gift programs offered by employers increase the benefits of your generosity to Methodist.

Tribute and celebratory gifts are special and meaningful opportunities to honor the memory of a family member or friend, thank an outstanding caretaker or recognize a life occasion.
