Sports Medicine

A world of expertise on your side.

MOST Trainers

If your child is a student athlete in Fort Bend County, chances are you´ve seen one of the physicians of MOST on the sidelines. As orthopedic care providers for the majority of Fort Bend ISD´s school sports programs, MOST maintains a legacy of expertise in dealing with the unique and challenging injuries associated with these sports. However, expertise is not the only advantage MOST offers. Immediate access to physicians sets MOST apart. Should a student athlete get injured, a call from the trainer or parent insures a MOST physician will see the patient that same day.

World-class athlete to weekend warrior.

Whether you play for the pros or just for enjoyment, sports can take a toll on the performance of the musculoskeletal system. Ask the hundreds of professional athletes the physicians of MOST have treated. Damage that once meant the end of a patient´s ability to participate in a sport or other physical activity now can be repaired with little or no loss of function. Physicians at MOST are recognized experts in the restoration of function to joints damaged by trauma. In many cases, these surgical repairs are performed through the use of minimally invasive arthroscopic and microsurgical techniques, helping to reduce recovery time.

MOST physicians work closely with Methodist´s physical therapists and rehabilitation specialists. Methodist Sugar Land Hospital maintains advanced rehabilitation facilities within the MOST building, allowing seamless coordination of care between the surgeons and the rehabilitation professionals whose work is a crucial part of the recovery process and the return to normal activity.
