Registration
You are encouraged to pre-register at least three days prior to your outpatient procedure. Call Patient Registration at 713-394-6805, or register in person at one of the following locations:
Methodist Outpatient Center / 2nd floor
6:00am – 6:00pm
Monday – Friday
Smith Tower / Fifth floor
6:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Monday – Friday
Main Building / First floor
24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Preparation for your outpatient procedure
Many procedures require special preparations that may begin a day or more before your actual procedure. Please contact your physician's office for complete instructions. The office staff will let you know if you will need assistance following the procedure.
Payment Arrangements
The hospital will file your insurance claim for outpatient hospital charges. In addition to your hospital bill, your doctor and any specialists called for consultation will mail you separate bills. For example, if you have surgery, your anesthesiologist and other specialists such as radiologists or pathologists will also send bills.
