As a benefit to our physicians and health professionals, The Methodist Hospital System recently purchased access to web-based multi media patient education programs, called Emmi. These user-friendly programs educate patients about upcoming surgical procedures and chronic conditions. It is a new and innovative solution for enhancing patient communication—at no cost to physicians or patients.
Emmi programs support our mission of providing a unique patient experience and adding value to your practices. Patients appreciate the opportunity to review Emmi programs at their own pace and in the comfort of their own homes. They can also share the programs with family and friends who assist in their care. What’s more, The Methodist Hospital System is the first hospital to offer this service in Texas.
