The Children's Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and serves children under the age of 18. Primary care, well child check-ups and immunizations are available. The Children's Clinic does not accept patients with insurance other than Medicaid or CHIP. Fees for medical services are charged on a sliding scale based on family size, income and expenses. The Children's Clinic treats more than 750 patients each month.
The Children's Clinic also serves as a training facility for the University of Texas Department of Pediatrics and other colleges and universities.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Need medical and nursing professionals, dental volunteers, medical and dental supplies, over the counter medications.
Other Needs:
Great need for Spanish translators.
