Methodist Champions Field at the Houston Amateur Sports Park
Sponsored by The Methodist Center for Sports Medicine, the Methodist Champions Field is the training site for the Houston Dynamo first team and Dynamo Academy. The training site is just south of downtown Houston at the Houston Amateur Sports Park. Houston Dynamo head coach, Dominic Kinnear, and players held their first training session at Methodist Champions Field on April 13, 2011.
In early 2012, The Methodist Center for Sports Medicine will open a state-of-the-art rehabilitation sports center with new, cutting-edge therapeutic technology used for transitions in the levels of care. Physicians from the Center also serve as team physicians to the Houston Dynamo, Houston Astros, Houston Texans and Rice Athletics.
