The center consists of a comprehensive team of gynecologists, urologists, colorectal surgeons and plastic surgeons. All physicians in the center are nationally recognized as leaders in their disciplines and have a focus and interest in pelvic reconstructive surgery. By forming relationships between these different disciplines that frequently come together for these patients, the center can pool their experience for the benefit and convenience of the patient. Additionally, a sex therapist can be consulted through the center to assist patients who are having sexual dysfunction.
Physicians in the center are also engaged in cutting-edge research to advance knowledge in the field and provide education to medical professionals who work in this discipline. The education and research conducted at the center promotes the quality of care in patents with pelvic organ disorders.
