Thank you for considering a gift to The Methodist Hospital Research Institute. Over the years, philanthropy and volunteerism have been instrumental in shaping Methodist into the outstanding institution it is today, and they will continue to drive its future growth and development.

In 2003, The Methodist Hospital Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was established to help accomplish the priorities of the hospital through fundraising, volunteerism, gift management, and stewardship. Led by a Board of Directors, the Foundation accepts all gifts on behalf of Methodist for the benefit of research, education, patient care, and community outreach.

TMHRI is among the organization´s highest funding priorities, and substantial resources are needed to facilitate its success. Methodist continually seeks new philanthropic support to attract and retain outstanding physicians and researchers, foster scientific breakthroughs and biomedical innovation, and respond to emerging needs as they arise in the fast-paced arena of medical discovery.

As with any complex and ambitious enterprise, Methodist cannot undertake such initiatives alone and asks for the community´s generous support of TMHRI. Scores of giving opportunities are available at all levels — opportunities that allow donors to invest in the staff, tools, technologies, facilities, research, and education infrastructure that will lead to cures and improved treatments for today´s most immediate health concerns. Such investments have far-reaching and immeasurable returns, as no one can put a price on medical breakthroughs that heal people and save lives.
