Methodist Willowbrook Hospital Sponsors Mall Walker Program at Willowbrook Mall
(Houston, TX) — Methodist Willowbrook Hospital is making it easier for its neighbors to get their exercise—rain or shine—by sponsoring a Mall Walker
Program at Willowbrook Mall. The new program includes mile markers that allow walkers to judge their distance, plus presentations by Methodist
physicians on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
As this season´s high temperatures and frequent rainfall tend to keep people indoors, the Mall Walker Program lets area residents walk Willowbrook
Mall´s 1.8-mile loop at their own pace and in dry, air-conditioned comfort.
"During our hot Texas summers, it´s especially important that people have free, convenient opportunities to exercise indoors," says Methodist
Willowbrook Hospital CEO Beryl Ramsey. "In addition to our mile markers, we´re also scheduling a series of talks by our physicians on taking care
of your health. It´s one more way we're helping to build a healthier Willowbrook community."
