Beryl Ramsey, MBA, FACHE – Chief Executive Officer/Senior Vice President

Beryl Ramsey, MBA, FACHE – Chief Executive Officer/Senior Vice President Beryl Ramsey is Chief Executive Officer of Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, and Senior Vice President of The Methodist Hospital System. Mrs. Ramsey has over 25 years of healthcare leadership experience in both not-for-profit and for-profit systems, mostly in the Houston area. Throughout her career in healthcare, she has assumed progressively responsible positions, including CFO, COO and CEO roles, resulting in achieving growth for those facilities she served. She joined Methodist Willowbrook Hospital (MWH) in 2009 with a deep commitment to the Methodist ICARE (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence) values. She truly believes that the ICARE values are the voice, face and soul of this hospital as MWH provides high quality, cost-effective health care that delivers the best value to the Northwest Houston community in a spiritual environment of caring.

Mrs. Ramsey received her MBA from the University of Houston in 1993 concentrating in Finance and Management and her undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science, from the University of Texas, School of Allied Health, Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). She represents Methodist Willowbrook Hospital as a Board member of the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce, Lone Star College, Cy-Fair Education Foundation and Northwest Assistance Ministries. She is also on the board of Cypress Creek Emergency Medical Services and the American Heart Association of the Northwest Harris County chapter.

 

Keith Barber, MHA - Chief Financial Officer/Vice President

Keith Barber, MHA - Chief Financial Officer/Vice PresidentKeith Barber is the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of the Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. Mr. Barber has over 20 years of healthcare leadership experience in both non-profit and for-profit systems, with the last 12 years in the Northwest community in executive positions including, CFO, COO, and interim CEO. He joined Methodist Willowbrook Hospital (MWH) in June 2012 and has excellent healthcare experience and a great track record of strong leadership in hospital financial operations and strategic development. In addition, Keith has a strong alignment with our ICARE (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence) values.

Mr. Barber received his Master’s of Healthcare Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and his undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. In addition, Mr. Barber has lived in the Northwest community for 12 years. He is a member of the Woodlands United Methodist Church and a Board member of the Tomball Chamber of Commerce.

 

Sheila Fata, MBA, RN - CNO/Vice President

Sheila Fata, MBA, RN - CNO/Vice President Sheila Fata is Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Operations at Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. Ms. Fata has held healthcare leadership positions for over 25 years in both non-profit and for-profit systems, serving in CNO, COO and Hospital Administrator roles in the Houston area.

She is a member of numerous professional organizations including American Organization of Nurse Executives, the American Nurses Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives. She has held elected and appointed positions with the Texas Organization of Nurse Executives (TONE), the Houston Organization of Nurse Executives (HONE), the Texas Hospital Association and the Texas Board of Nurses, and is a past president for both TONE and HONE. She currently serves on the board of directors for TONE.

Ms. Fata received her MBA from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

 

Rev. Mark H. Young, D. Min. - Director of Spiritual Care & Values Integration

Rev. Mark H. Young, D. Min. - Director of Spiritual Care & Values Integration Mark H. Young is the Director of Spiritual Care & Values Integration at Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. Dr. Young is an ordained Elder of the Texas Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. He has served as pastor of several United Methodist Churches in rural and urban settings. For five years he served as an Executive Officer of the Texas Annual Conference as a Superintendent of the Beaumont District. His most recent pastorate was Senior Minister of Klein United Methodist Church, Spring, Texas.

Dr. Young began his employment with Methodist Willowbrook Hospital in March of 2010. Rev. Young has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Houston, a Masters of Theology from SMU, and a Doctorate of Ministry from the Houston Graduate School of Theology. He currently serves as a Klein Education Foundation Director in the Klein ISD and is active in several charitable events in our area.
