Getting Here (Fannin location)

METRO Services

Call 713-635-4000 with the addresses of your location and your destination, and METRO personnel can tell you where and when to meet the correct bus. Stops are conveniently located at the Bertner entrance to the Main Building and on Fannin by the Neurosensory Center.

Directions

We are located in the Texas Medical Center, just southwest of downtown Houston. Listed below are directions from all major airports and freeways in the city to our facility. Access our campus map for specific building locations associated with The Methodist Hospital.

From the Airports

From Bush Intercontinental Airport:
Exit Bush Intercontinental Airport via JFK Boulevard. Turn onto Will Clayton Boulevard and take to 59 South. Take Highway 59 South approximately 19 miles to Highway 288. From 288 exit MacGregor Drive. At MacGregor turn right and continue driving north. MacGregor intersects Fannin Street. At the Fannin signal turn left. The Methodist Hospital is located on the left at 6565 Fannin. 6550 Fannin is across the street on the right.

From Houston Hobby Airport:
From the airport exit Broadway. Travel Broadway to I-45 North. Take I-45 North onto the 610 West Loop. Continue on the 610 West Loop until the Fannin Street exit. Take this exit and turn right on Fannin. Drive for approximately two miles until you reach the Texas Medical Center. The hospital is on the right side. 6550 Fannin is across the street on the left.

Freeway Access

From North Houston:
Take I-45 South to Highway 288 South. Take the MacGregor exit. At MacGregor turn right and continue until the Fannin Street signal. At Fannin turn left. The Methodist Hospital is located on the left at 6565 Fannin. 6550 Fannin is across the street on the right.

From the Northeast:
Take 59 South to Highway 288 South. Take the MacGregor exit. At MacGregor turn right and continue until the Fannin Street signal. At Fannin turn left. The Methodist Hospital is located on the left at 6565 Fannin. 6550 Fannin is across the street on the right.

From the Northwest:
Travel Highway 290 South to the 610 West Loop South. Continue along the 610 Loop to the Fannin Street exit. Turn left onto Fannin and continue for approximately two miles. The hospital is located on the right side at 6565 Fannin. 6550 Fannin is across the street on the left.

From South Houston: Take I-45 North until the 610 Loop West. Take the 610 Loop West to the Fannin Street exit. Take this exit and turn right on Fannin. Drive for approximately two miles until you reach the Texas Medical Center. The hospital is on the right side. 6550 Fannin is across the street on the left.

From the Southeast:
Take Highway 225 to I-45 North. Take I-45 North to 59 South and then take Highway 288 South. Exit MacGregor and turn right. Continue until the Fannin Street signal. At Fannin turn left. The Methodist Hospital is located on the left at 6565 Fannin. 6550 Fannin is across the street on the right.

From the Southwest:
Take 59 North to Highway 288 South. Exit MacGregor and turn right.Continue until the Fannin Street signal. At Fannin turn left. The Methodist Hospital is located on the left at 6565 Fannin.

From East Houston:
Take I-10 West to 59 South. From 59 South take 288 South. Exit MacGregor and turn right. Continue until the Fannin Street signal. At Fannin turn left. The Methodist Hospital is located on the left at 6565 Fannin. 6550 Fannin is across the street on the right.

From West Houston:
Take I-10 East to I-45 South. Take I-45 South to 288 South. Exit MacGregor and turn right. Continue until the Fannin Street signal. At Fannin turn left. The Methodist Hospital is located on the left at 6565 Fannin. 6550 Fannin is across the street on the right.

Parking

Self Parking Garages
Parking for Methodist facilities is available at Smith Tower Garage, Main Street entrance or in Scurlock Tower Garage Fannin St entrance. Additional self parking is available on Fannin Street in Garage 1 and on John Freeman Boulevard in Garage 7.

Self Parking Garage fees
Parking in the garages may be less expensive for short visits versus valet, but please be aware that there are two methods of payment depending on where you park. If you park in Scurlock or Smith Towers, you will make a payment to a person as you drive out. If you park in Garage 1 or Garage 7, Easy Pay Stations, where you self pay and validate, are located in the garages.

Valet Parking
Valet service is available at Smith Tower Garage and Scurlock Tower Garage 5:30am - 7:30pm. Dunn Tower, Fannin entrance valet service is available 5:30am-9:00pm. For questions about valet parking at Methodist facilities please call 713-441-0175.
