Program Overview & Structure
The DeBakey Institute for Cardiovascular Education and Training serves a cross-section of cardiovascular professionals during all phases of their careers. Under the auspices of the DeBakey Institute, educational programs are divided between two entities: the Didactic College and the Skills Academy.

Seminars and classroom discussions facilitate the open exchange of cardiovascular knowledge and theory.
Skills Academy
Practical instruction, simulations and laboratory work provide the vital hands-on experience needed to develop and refine procedural skills.
