Cardiology specialists offer some of the region’s most advanced cardiac care. Methodist Sugar Land Hospital is one of the area’s few providers of emergency angioplasty, a life-saving procedure that restores blood flow to the heart and minimizes the damage of heart attack.
To accommodate emergency needs, the hospital has an additional interventional lab (also called a cardiac catheterization lab) for special procedures. Emergency angioplasties are performed at Methodist Sugar Land Hospital.
