Chris Siebenaler, Chief Executive Officer

Chris Siebenaler

Chris Siebenaler is the Chief Executive Officer of Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. Mr. Siebenaler has extensive experience in health care, working in the for-profit and non-profit health care sectors as both a Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Siebenaler worked for large for-profit healthcare systems for 10 years before joining The Methodist Hospital System in 2001 as the Chief Financial Officer of Methodist Diagnostic Hospital. In 2002, he transferred to San Jacinto Methodist Hospital as the Chief Operating Officer, where he worked until transferring to Methodist Sugar Land Hospital in 2006.

Since joining Methodist, Mr. Siebenaler has been an active leader in community organizations. He is the former President of the United Way of Baytown Area Board of Directors and since joining Methodist Sugar Land Hospital, has served as a Board member for several community organizations, including the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, First Colony Property Owner's Associations, First Colony Management District and Fort Bend Economic Development Council.

 

Janet Leatherwood, Vice President/CNO

Janet Leatherwood

Janet Leatherwood is the Chief Nursing Officer of Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. Since July 2007, Janet has served as a board member on University of Houston-Victoria President's Regional Advisory Board (PRAB). Janet is also a member of Texas Organization of Nursing Executives and has been published in a number of health care journals. Prior to joining Methodist Sugar Land Hospital, Ms. Leatherwood served as Chief Nursing Officer of a hospital in Conroe, Texas. During her medical career, she has worked for both non-profit and for-profit sectors of health care.

Ms. Leatherwood has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Houston Baptist University and a Masters of Science in Nursing from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

 

Lowell E. Stanton, Vice President/CFO

Lowell E. Stanton

Lowell Stanton is the Chief Financial Officer of Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. Mr. Stanton is a Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and Healthcare Financial Management Association. He currently serves as Treasurer of the American Cancer Society League of Fort Bend County and as a Board Member with the American Heart Association, East Fort Bend Division. Mr. Stanton has been in The Methodist Hospital System since 1998.

Mr. Stanton has a Masters of Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from Texas A&M University. His Bachelor of Business Administration, with concentration in Finance is also from Texas A&M University.

 

 

Becky Chalupa, Associate CNO

Becky Chalupa

Becky Chalupa is the Associate Chief Nursing Officer of Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. She is currently a member of The American Organization of Nurse Executives, the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses and Sigma Theta Tau International. She has spent most of her nursing career in the operating room and has been with The Methodist Hospital System for over 19 years.

Ms. Chalupa received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Masters of Nursing in Health Systems Management from Texas Woman's University.

 

 

 

Dr. Gary Flores, Chief of Staff

Gary Flores, Chief of Staff

Dr. Gary Flores is the Chief of Staff at Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. Dr. Flores received his B.A. degree in Psychology from Baylor University in 1978 and his M.D. degree from Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) in 1985. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at BCM in 1989. Dr. Flores passed his Board Certification examination in Anesthesiology in 1991.

Dr. Flores is committed to several leadership roles at Methodist Sugar Land Hospital as well as outside committees. In particular he is Methodist Sugar Land Hospital's Chief of Anesthesia, Chairman of Methodist Sugar Land Hospital's Medical Executive Committee, member of Methodist Sugar Land Hospital's Board of Trustees and the Chairman of Greater Houston Anesthesiology's Clinical Governance Board.
