Welcome to the Methodist J.C. Walter Jr. Transplant Center
At the Methodist J.C. Walter Jr. Transplant Center, we help patients and their families with the clinical care, resources, and support they need to face an organ transplant with confidence—before, during and after their transplants.
One of The Methodist Hospital System’s five Centers of Excellence, the Methodist J.C. Walter Jr. Transplant Center is one of the most active and most highly respected centers of its kind. It’s also home to some of the nation’s most revered transplant physicians, known around the world as leaders in clinical transplantation. For more information, please call 713-441-5451.
This year the Methodist J.C. Walter Jr. Transplant Center had an unprecedented turnout at our annual conferences – The George P. Noon Conference on the Management of Organ Failure, and Understanding Chronic Kidney Disease Management: The Promise of a Second Chance. Over 300 attendees enjoyed updates from local and national speakers on the topics of heart, liver, kidney, pancreas, intestine, and lung failure. Both conferences captured the pioneering spirit of Dr. George P. Noon, who is photographed with Dr. A. Osama Gaber, the director of transplantation at The Methodist Hospital.
