Breastfeeding in the hospital
The nursing staff at Methodist Willowbrook hospital assists you as you learn to breastfeed your infant. The process will begin as soon as possible after the baby’s birth. Learning continues after mom and baby are transferred to the postpartum unit. The staff is here to offer assistance, education and guidance. Our lactation consultants are available for assistance and education as well. The lactation consultants are available at 281-737-1443.
Mom to Mom Connection
Mom to Mom Connection is a free support group for breastfeeding moms and their babies. The group meets once per month. Light refreshments will be served. Please call 281-737-2006 Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. for dates and locations.
Breast Pumps and breastfeeding supplies
Breast pumps are available for rent or purchase in the Gifts from the Heart Gift Shop located on the first floor of the hospital Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (281-737-4438)
