Neuroscience Nursing Residency Program

This program is designed for the novice neuroscience nurse or the acute care/critical care nurse who desires to enhance their knowledge of neuro anatomy and physiology and neuro pathologies to improve their ability to care for patients with real or potential neurological deficits or processes.

Course Description

The purpose of this educational activity is to provide the core knowledge for registered nurses to develop competency in nursing care for the neuroscience nursing specialty practice in an acute/critical care environment. The goal is to increase the nurses' ability to provide proactive nursing care using enhanced critical thinking skills and a multi-disciplinary approach.
