Residency Program

The Department of Neurosurgery places a strong emphasis on achieving academic excellence. Its seven-year residency program trains the next generation of neurosurgeons to provide the highest standard of care while integrating top-level research and innovative technology into every layer of education.

Further educational opportunities for residents and faculty are presented regularly, and include Neurological Institute Grand Rounds, Radiosurgery Conferences, Neurosurgery Didactic Teaching Conferences and Neurosurgery Grand Rounds. Each of these has a different academic role, from presenting the latest research findings in neuroscience to studying neurosurgical techniques and practice.
