San Jacinto Methodist Hospital recently donated $1000 in support of the Mont Belvieu EMS Explorer Post Program. The Explorer program is an opportunity for high school students to learn all aspects of the EMS field and obtain first-hand EMS experience. Students become certified in CPR and basic first aid and participate in field trips and EMS competitions. The program is offered in cooperation with the Boy Scouts of America.
