San Jacinto Methodist Hospital has received the Get With The Guidelines®–Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. This marks the third consecutive year that San Jacinto Methodist has been recognized with the Stroke Gold Plus quality achievement award. San Jacinto Methodist is the only hospital in the Bay Area, and one of only two hospitals in the greater Houston area, to have received three consecutive Stroke Gold Plus awards (as of May 29, 2013).

San Jacinto Methodist Hospital was recognized with an “A” Hospital Safety Score by The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit run by employers and other large purchasers of health benefits. The A score was awarded in the latest update to the Hospital Safety ScoreSM, the A, B, C, D or F scores assigned to U.S. hospitals based on preventable medical errors, injuries accidents, and infections.
