Biography

After completion of his postdoctoral training, Dr. Derman joined the faculty of the Baylor College of Medicine as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology. He became an Associate Professor there in 1995. While at Baylor, Dr. Derman held several management positions including Medical Director of the Neurology Infusion Center, Director of the Headache Clinic, and Manager of Clinical Affairs for the Department of Neurology. He assumed his current positions at Methodist in 2005.

Description of Research

Dr. Derman's research centers on clinical investigations in the field of migraine headaches, as well as pharmacologic approaches to several neurologic disorders.
