Dr. Joshua Septimus is a private practice internist and laboratory director for Associates in Medicine, with clinical faculty positions at both the Weill Medical College of Cornell University and Baylor College of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and holds memberships in several committees at The Methodist Hospital, including the Internal Medicine Quality Improvement Committee and the Peer Review Committee. He trained and completed his residency at Baylor, where he received the Award of Excellence in Ambulatory Care, awarded to the graduating resident with the most outstanding performance in ambulatory care at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Septimus is a member of the Harris County Medical Society and the National Lipid Association, and is a diplomat in the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Septimus’ research interests include infectious diseases, lipidology, and investigations of novel prevention strategies for atherosclerosis.
