Male Infertility
Urology Services is one of just a handful of centers in the United States with a national reputation for male reproductive medicine and surgery.
Our physicians developed a non-invasive ultrasound visualization of the male reproductive system to look for blockages; tests that look for antibodies or oxidants in the patient's semen that prevent conception; and a test that screens for genetic reasons for male infertility. And we have our own state-of-the-art, on-site laboratory to ensure proper evaluation of tests, too.
Treatments available through Urology services include surgery to correct blockages or repair injuries to the patient's reproductive system; hormone therapy to increase sperm production; in-vitro fertilization; microscopic manipulation of sperm and eggs; and new therapies that increase the concentration or mobility of sperm.
In addition, our physicians work closely with a couple's OB/Gyn to ensure a coordinated approach to infertility treatment. That team approach provides couples with flexibility and convenience.
