The Methodist Hospital Prostate Cancer Center Program is a leading NIH-sponsored clinical center evaluating medical therapy for benign prostatic hyperplasia, or enlargement of the prostate. That means our patients often have access to new drug therapies not yet available to the general public.
Physicians at the Institute also offer the latest options for patients who don’t respond to medication alone. We’re a leading center for a new, minimally invasive treatment called TUNA, and we also provide electrovaporization and laser prostatectomy to those who require surgical intervention.
