Department of Neurology Clinic, Methodist Neurological InstituteWe are located in the Texas Medical Center in Houston. The clinic is held on the eighth floor of Scurlock Tower, located at 6560 Fannin St., directly across the street from the Methodist Hospital.

Our regular office hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Scurlock Tower Parking is located directly across Fannin Street from the Hospital, have covered crosswalks to the Hospital, and have entrances from Fannin and Main.

Directions To The Methodist Hospital

We are located in the Texas Medical Center, just southwest of downtown Houston. Listed below are directions from all major airports and freeways in the city to our facility. Access our campus map for specific building locations associated with The Methodist Hospital.

Airports

From Bush Intercontinental Airport: Exit Bush Intercontinental Airport via JFK Boulevard. Turn onto Will Clayton Boulevard and take to 59 South. Take Highway 59 South approximately 19 miles to Highway 288. From 288 exit MacGregor Drive. At MacGregor turn right and continue driving north. MacGregor intersects Fannin Street. At the Fannin signal turn left. The Methodist Hospital is located on the left at 6565 Fannin.

From Houston Hobby Airport: From the airport exit Broadway. Travel Broadway to I-45 North. Take I-45 North onto the 610 West Loop. Continue on the 610 West Loop until the Fannin Street exit. Take this exit and turn right on Fannin. Drive for approximately two miles until you reach the Texas Medical Center. The hospital is on the right side.

Freeway Access

From North Houston: Take I-45 South to Highway 288 South. Take the MacGregor exit. At MacGregor turn right and continue until the Fannin Street signal. At Fannin turn left. The Methodist Hospital is located on the left at 6565 Fannin.

From the Northeast: Take 59 South to Highway 288 South. Take the MacGregor exit. At MacGregor turn right and continue until the Fannin Street signal. At Fannin turn left. The Methodist Hospital is located on the left at 6565 Fannin.

From the Northwest: Travel Highway 290 South to the 610 West Loop South. Continue along the 610 Loop to the Fannin Street exit. Turn left onto Fannin and continue for approximately two miles. The hospital is located on the right side at 6565 Fannin.

From South Houston: Take I-45 North until the 610 Loop West. Take the 610 Loop West to the Fannin Street exit. Take this exit and turn right on Fannin. Drive for approximately two miles until you reach the Texas Medical Center. The hospital is on the right side.

From the Southeast: Take Highway 225 to I-45 North. Take I-45 North to 59 South and then take Highway 288 South. Exit MacGregor and turn right. Continue until the Fannin Street signal. At Fannin turn left. The Methodist Hospital is located on the left at 6565 Fannin.

From the Southwest: Take 59 North to Highway 288 South. Exit MacGregor and turn right.Continue until the Fannin Street signal. At Fannin turn left. The Methodist Hospital is located on the left at 6565 Fannin.

From East Houston: Take I-10 West to 59 South. From 59 South take 288 South. Exit MacGregor and turn right. Continue until the Fannin Street signal. At Fannin turn left. The Methodist Hospital is located on the left at 6565 Fannin.

From West Houston: Take I-10 East to I-45 South. Take I-45 South to 288 South. Exit MacGregor and turn right. Continue until the Fannin Street signal. At Fannin turn left. The Methodist Hospital is located on the left at 6565 Fannin.

Medication Policy

Each physician’s office is responsible for medications. Please ask the physician at your office visit for prescriptions you will need. You should know whether your insurance plan requires a mail order "90" days or a local “30” days prescription. Otherwise you can contact physician’s office.

Please allow 24 to 48 hrs for the office to handle the prescription. Be aware that physicians are covering weekends or holidays will not renew narcotics or muscle relaxants; these prescription renewals should be requested during office hours.

Billing Questions

Policies
We file for insurance plans that we are on. The only exception to this is if your visit or procedure is over $500 and you have met your out of network deductible—we will file your insurance for you. If exceptions need be made to this policy please make arrangements in advance with our billing department.

We collect co-pays, deductibles and co-insurance at time of service. We accept checks, cash, all major credit cards.
