Current Research projects include:

Revascularization surgery for carotid occlusion, development of devices for the treatment of patent foramen ovale, biomarkers that predict outcome from thrombolysis in stroke, radiographic correlates for cognitive decline in vascular dementia, cognitive and vascular outcomes after vascular surgery and solid organ transplant.

Clinical Interests include:

Cerebrovascular diseases, including the care of patients with acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke and other critical neurological illnesses, assessment and treatment of carotid artery disease and carotid occlusion, management of cerebral aneurysms and vascular malformations, and the assessment of vascular changes in headache, dementia, brain tumors, transplant recipients, and sleep disorders.
