
The summer MAPP program offers a paid position with applications being accepted each spring from nursing students completing their junior year of a four-year BSN program and living outside of the Houston/Galveston regional area.
Summer MAPP students are required to work 40 hours a week. For participating in the program, student nurses can expect:
Upon completion of the MAPP program, student nurses in their last semester of nursing school who have maintained a GPA of 3.2 or higher will have the opportunity to be among the first candidates to interview for a full time, paid position as a TMH nursing resident.

The year-round MAPP program offers a paid position with applications being in October from nursing students completing their junior year of a four year BSN program and living within the Houston/Galveston regional area.
MAPP students in the year-round program are required to work 24 hours each month for up to 12 months — depending on their graduation date. In some cases additional hours may be negotiated with nursing directors. For participating in the program, student nurses can expect:
