Using innovative clinical and research programs, the Center's physicians and staff are committed to expanding the indications for effective liver disease therapies while adhering to the ICARE values of the Methodist Hospital.

The Methodist Center for Liver Disease and Transplantation treats patients with all facets of liver disease, hepatobiliary problems, and primary or secondary liver tumors. Stressing prevention, early diagnosis, advanced protocol-driven disease management and state-of-the-art research innovation, the center brings together highly trained and experienced medical and patient support teams.

Our physicians have recognized expertise in all aspects of primary and secondary liver tumors, including hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma and liver metastases. While treating the full spectrum of liver disease and hepatobiliary problems, the center provides particular expertise in care for patients with hepatitis B and hepatitis C, biliary tract disease, pre-transplantation care, transplantation, and end-stage liver disease. Our multidisciplinary approach provides interaction between specialists, resulting in highly coordinated care for each of our patients. The center's team brings years of experience in radiofrequency ablation, chemotherapy and surgical resection approaches.
