The birth of your child is one of the most significant events in your life. Family-centered care means keeping families together as they welcome and learn to care for their baby. Methodist Willowbrook Hospital embraces the love and support of your family with a focus on family-centered care.
The health and safety of our mothers and newborns is first and foremost. Visiting is permitted 24 hours/day; however, it may need to be limited based on the patient’s condition. Family waiting areas are designed for your family and visitors comfort.
Our staff which includes obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, pediatricians, nurses and support staff provides excellent patient care. Our ICARE values are evident in everything we do. Finding an Obstetrician:
Your obstetrician is an important member of the health care team. For assistance in choosing an obstetrician, find a physician online or call 281-477-2500. Methodist Willowbrook Hospital Physician Referral service is available to assist you in choosing an obstetrician who has privileges at this hospital. The referral service offers information such as office hours, education and background about the physician. Consult your insurance provider for covered physicians, hospitals and other services.
Finding a Pediatrician:
A pediatrician is a physician who specializes in the care of infants and children. Some physicians may offer “new parent” consultation appointments prior to the birth of your new baby. Contact their office for information. Remember to choose a pediatrician that participates in your insurance plan. Your chosen pediatrician may or may not make hospital visits. Methodist Willowbrook and Texas Children’s Hospital have partnered to provide neonatologists to provide care for your infant while they are in the hospital.
