Program Overview
This activity will examine the latest scientific advances in the field of thoracic organ transplant medicine, as well as provide an overview and exploration of emerging clinical technologies and treatment trends. Expert speakers will present cutting-edge clinical advances, current best practices and center management solutions in this specialized area of health care. Successful implementation of thoracic transplant procedures is dependent on acquiring knowledge from experts in the field, applying principles of a team-based approach to an individual's practice, and specialized assessment. This course will also explore the theoretical, practical, and ethical aspects surrounding the evolving science of thoracic organ transplantation.
